There is nothing more upsetting in the world of Yorkshire Terriers than a backyard breeder. For the most part, they do not care about the quality of their puppies. Pedigrees and titles of the dam and the sire do not matter much for them. Such puppies will hardly make champion dogs. Besides, a careless way of breeding can lead to genetic problems in the descendants. One should try to avoid buying a Yorkshire Terrier from a backyard breeder. The best way to determine a responsible breeder is to ask questions about his/her experience in breeding, showing, etc. It is good when a breeder is a member of a local or national club.
